Been looking at some Bio Cube tanks, they cost a lot for small tanks. I like the fact that they have built in filter and cool light, but really its nothing i could not build myself.

Has anyone used one before? Please let me know how it worked out for you.

*I did not mean to put the thumbs down icon on this*

I've been dealing with one at work for awhile now.. I like it.. but it's very limited obviousely w/ stocking ect. It's nice if you want a nano-type set-up but don't want quite the devotion to maintanence. we have the 29 running. I sell most to beginerrs, or people wanting a small reef tank set-up. Not a bad deal imo for someone who wants to add water and go.. But It's just not big enough for me. rumors about them makeing larger systems been floating around. It's worth the money imo if your gonna go salt.. it's comparable to buying and outfitting a standard 29, at least around here.

I have a 12G nano cube in my office at work ... I wouldn't buy one for my home, and I could easily put together a similar size tank/light/filter for much less than a nano cube costs

but for an office, I went with the nano cube because the overall appearance is way more appropriate than a standard aquarium ... and that was my priority

If you pick one up on craigs list or w/e in good shape for 1/2 off they are absalute money for somthing like a mantis shrimp. :headbang2
