i think its my water i have over 60 types of cichlid every cichlid i see thats a species i have mine is prettier i know its not me lol got to be the water its so wierd if i sell 1 and go look after its dull and not as pretty as it was in my tank no idea why

If you feed vegetarian/algae based foods it usually helps bring out the colors.
They are seen to eat fallen fruit in nature.

Those are some nice looking fish you have there.. Even if you not sure what it is your doing for those colors, what ever it is, its working so dont change a thing lol!

i really do nothing i feed real cheap walmart pond flake once a day and nothing else i think its my water
