Are bluegills going crazy yet?

I've got the urge to go to the nearby lake and catch a bunch, are they breeding yet?

Conditions are gonna vary quite a bit throughout the states. I bet even in California, some lakes could be in the 90* range and some might still be frozen, so we can't reliably tell you if fish in some random lake are spawning. I saw some on beds about 2-3 weeks ago around here.

well where I am the outside temperature was mid 80s, is that warm enough? =/

There actually spawning right now where im from (norcal). But not the lakes, im not sure. Havent tried the lakes yet but for sure in the deltas and rivers. I caught a plenty of them with eggs. The weather here is hot nasty!

ok well its kind of a pond or something, its got a 1 mile circumference so not very big, what temperature is it where your at?
