12 Volt Man Arapaima MFK Member May 24, 2007 6,669 1,045 203 canada Sep 30, 2012 #3 I would say no. they are too small. cutteri can be quite nasty, and will likely kill them which defeats the purpose of dithers. you want something that can take a little more nipping, like a school of tiger barbs or aurelius barbs. they can stand up to the aggression better than cherry barbs would. barbs are great for this, just not that particular barb, which are slower, friendly and stay quite smaller than most of the other barbs out there.
