So i might get a coral catshark thats 16" and i was wondering if these guys or any catsharks are know to be jumpers? I had some bad experiences with my snowflake eel(he is still a live) he just kept jumping even though i fully sealed my tank. So if anyone can let me know about their experience it would be great.

coral cats are benthic sharks so i highly doubt they will jump. i have raised 3 banded bamboo sharks and none of them have ever jumped

Usually, they only get really excited/active during feedings. I've had some come out of the water then, but not under normal circumstances.

My Banded Hound is benthic, but very active and poking his head out of the water alot. I have glass tops so he can't escape. Otherwise he may be a jumper.

a hound shark or a cat shark. usually prettty different types off animals. banded hounds are usually very active swimmers which would put me on the mindset that they would be more likely to jump than an actual benthic shark.

try to seal it heavily for the eel.eels eescape through any little hole. paul what did you have in your tank

4/5 green chromis. One if which she'd taken a bug bite of. My new bamboo is also very lively all the time. She's constantly around the top of the tank poking her head out occasionally.
