Are Exodon paradoxus compatible with the giant gourami?

I am planning on keeping about 30 to 40 exodons with a giant gourami in a 220 gallon tank. Let me know if this is possible.

Do your Exodons tend to kill each other off over time? I heard you need a minimum number to spread out the aggression. I would love to get some again, I used to keep them as dither fish with African Cichlids years ago, despite the hard water they did o.k. Man those suckers are fast too!!! I have a nearly empty 135 planted tank and think a school of them would be spectacular! Tiger barbs would eat the plants so any tankmates would have to be selected very carefully!
