My LFS finally gets some of these fish in but there are white cottony masses on the dorsal, anal and other places on the fish. The best one has a trace of this on the anal fin, barely visible. Should I buy one? I don't think this can be cured. Any ideas?
Are Fei Fengs prone to lymphocystis?

I do not know if they are especially prone to it but it can be contagious, mainly when fish are stressed, and while it can sometimes be trimmed away there is no reliable cure that I know of. I would seek another source rather than risk introducing it into a tank.
