Here.
Hello everyone,

I noticed that my female hides in the substrate more than my guy. Is this just a personality thing, or are the majority of females more shy?

Thanks guys!

Best,
Jeff

I think it is personality. I have 1 male and 3 females, the male is relaxed, the 1 female is under the sand a lot and the other 2 are nuts.

LOL.... what do u mean "nuts"? What do they do?

Are we talking about girls gone wild style?

All of my rays seem to be inquisitive, with no apparent differences between male and female. Some of the male and female rays are more active than the others but I see no differences due to gender overall (among my 11 rays, including pups).

My male is rather shy, but they're both still new to the tank. She's starting to come out and play more and she's starting to realize when I stare at the tank, chances are high she'll be getting food.
