ARE FEMALES RAYS WORTH MORE THAN MALES

Are female rays actually worth more than a male rays.I am talking about black rays henlei,leos,blackdiamonds and p14s.I think maybe just more demand for the females because everybody wants pups.Easy to sell females compared to males.

Definitely more demand which could drive price up. It only takes one male to make babies with several ladies.

i have people say that males are not worth the same which is bull crap i think.

Both play a part, but IMO a female ray should only be worth $50-$100 more than a male should...without a male there is no pups, without a female there will also be no pups....

Seriously, it all depends on what you're trying to do. If we're talking about regular breeding, females are obviously going to carry the bigger price tag. Now heres the catchy part. If we were to breed something like the white rays such as frank's white leos, or Mike's white pearls, the males would be worth alot more. The male would have the dominant genes needed for the white morph. Again, this would only be the case for rays that are so rare, that we pretty much know how many there are and who has them.

Economics does not lie. Like most livestock, you probably need more females.
