im doing on average 50% water changed in my tank weekly. so wouldn't it be pointless?

water changes themselves stimulate growth in plants.

so far i have anacharis, 2 amazon swords, 1 radican sword, wisteria, 1 watter lettuce

i plan to get a few banana plants, various anubias for the driftwood...java ferns as well.

also looking for crypts, i like the way they bush out.

i know i have substrate feeders and column feeders but i just think the water changes would dilute any fertilizers added

Ferts will be taken in within the week. The water change would be to keep levels from getting out of hand. However, your tank doesn't really have a need for water column ferts, but could use some root tabs for the root feeders.

thanks for the help dude.
