Here.
Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there are any problem when placing larger Geos [ (2x 6") Geo. Red Heads ; (2 x Geo Altifrons) with smaller ones (6x 2-3" Geo Red Heads). They will be sharing a 75G long tank (60"Lx18"Wx16"H).

Thanks!

IME, if you have a very small group of geos that look similar to each other, there will be a couple that get singled out and picked on. When I had 2 geos, one nearly beat the other to death. When I had 4 geos, the smaller ones always got singled out. When I stepped up to 7, the aggression started to curb. After upping the count to 10, almost all aggression has ceased, except for the occasional dash or nip.

Hmm... a group of 10 (3") smaller red heads with two larger (5")ones should be okay?

I have four ~6" abalios with six ~3-4" and they all do fine. When you have that many of the same species, aggression tends to ease off because the can't pick on everybody at one time. When I only had a few is when they were extremely intolerant of each other.

Thanks Piscine! You have been a great help in this matter.

Cheers.

Anytime.
