But does Geophagus Altiphrons have blue stripes going across the body? I'm wondering if the stripes look different in person than on pics and videos...Yes a few of the Geo species have the blue stripes.
I'm basically looking for a semi aggressive SOUTH AMERICAN cichlid that has some nice blue coloring to it that can go with freshwater rays... And I know blue acaras are blue but they're off the list.
I see blue, but I also see white... I'm guessing it's the light reflecting off the scales. But with your experience Duanes are the stripes blue? I've never seen Geophagus Altiphrons in person. Yah, it does kind of change under different angles and light, just like when that dress thing was going around. I don't know the stripes on Geophagus Altifrons look light blue and lime green to me... Did you like keeping them in your experience? Right now I only have a three spotted earth eater and I really like him.It's been years since I had them, so I couldn't really say, or remember. But scales reflect differently to different light.
