I just purchased a gold/pink jack dempsey from jeff rapps and was just reading about how ebjd's are inbred and very fragile. I was just wondering if the gold ones are the same way.

Gold Jd's are just a leucistic strain of the regular JD.
They shouldn't be more sensitive since they're not bred to be this certain color.

thats basically the exact fish i have in my tank now. great fish so far, eats everything i put in the tank.
