So I happen to pass by my LFS to see what the have.. and there it was a L-191 Green Royal right in front of my eyes..
I was gonna pass on it until the store owner i know said it was $25 which is a pretty sweet deal considering the fish is 5" long..

My 150gallon has a L-190 inside for almost 9 months now, along with a few other plecos... so i decided to bring it home...
I could tell the L-191 hasn't eaten much.. the belly seems a bit flat and his fins seem a bit clipped.. but not injured.. so i added cucumbers just to be safe...

Within 10 minutes My L-190 and L-191 found each other and their pretty much looking at each other and both are vibrating... I can also see a bit of tail moving... signs of pleco fight...

My question is since its a 150gallon tank.. should the L-191 be fine... even tho he's found a new enemy the L-190.. or maybe another tank would be better?

Thanks all.. I'll load some pictures later...

anyone have an opinion?????

All my royals are quite ignorant of each other so its nothing unusual. There should be plenty of space in your tank, so I would have no worries. Its only when there is more frequent bullying, then you might have to think about separation. I have found with my royals that there is a balance between aggression and territory. When there are many territories there is little aggression, when they are few territories then there is lots of aggression but there is are no territories then there is little aggression.

yeah dont worry...i had 7 different types of panaques ranging from 5-9" in a 125gal tank.... the tank was overfiltrated though with an fx-5 and a 55gal wet dry..... i also had plenty of drift wood for them...... i had all of them together for a long time....

Cool thanks guys.. ya.. I have two giant piece of driftwood and other decoration.. but i guess when introduced my Royal must have been like "wtf another royal trying to eat @#$@#$!!!".... :irked:

But ya.. i think they've both calm down a bit.. but i would like my new Royal to start eating...

I dunno how long the fish has been inside the fish store... but when i saw it in the tank.. it was stress and afraid...

congratulations on your find. they were probably saying "hello" and figuring out if they were seeing a reflection of themselves or not :)

and panaques from my experience do enjoy having each others company I do try to keep few sp. in the same tank. Though my species are smaller and dwarfs compared to those royals.

Thanks! Ya.. i have notice Royals tend to pick fights with other Royals..

I just added another L-191 i found.. and within mintues.. same result.. very quick bullying between the new Pleco and my Royal.. It seems the L-191 wants to show whos boss.. but my L-190 taught him a thing call RESPECT! :naughty:
