are leichardti arowana rare? my lfs has like 5 little ones that are like 4-5 inches. what are the regular price for the baby leichardti arowana? and i think they are going for $40 for one.

i want one but IMO they look ugly when they are small. but after looking at youtube vids they look awesome! hmm dont know if i should get them. how much would they usually run?

i always found leichardtis to be the rarest aro on the market but amongst the 4 legal species and their morphs, none are really "rare" just scarce from lfs to lfs. as in, they are always around but just take a little time to find unless you live near the one shop in your state that does sell them. point being, they are around and therefore not rare.

Leichardtis to me are just not as entertaining during feeding time as jardinis. and they don't have as many color morphs as jar's either. mostly just silver/green(ish)/yellow(ish) and more silver.

Lei arent really rare.. as they are just not often imported...

Their really just silver versions of Jardini... they are nice fish.. but i think their too expensive for the price of it being just .... silver...

I'd say that Jardini are much better looking in terms of colors and attitude.. Lei and Jardini are similar..... but at the same tme.. some minor difference as well..

i have never seen one here at all

its a good price usually run like a hundo
and they will have red dots on their scales.
its a good price but jars are cooler i think

Completely different body shapes and body structures between the two...
