Very much south..
Guys I have kept one, alone, for more than 10 years..I am considering putting her in a big fish tank.

Any opinions?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

bump ( first time i bump, but lets bump away )

The only time i've seen them with fish is when the fish were food, they are good hunters.

No!!! side necked turtles are very good fish hunters. That is what most of their diet consists of that and crustaceans.

so you would not put them with BIG fish, even? It would harass the fish, right?

Not only will they harass the fish, but they will bite them if given the chance and cause some nasty bite marks on the fish.

I see some of the Oblonga Turtles here, very attractive, tempting me to buy but I won't now. Miguel, I am glad I finally found someone who keeps The Oblonga Turtle. Can you tell me how to sex them? Is it possible to sex the juveniles? What do I need to know about them? There are three of them here in the LFS under the normal fluorescent light, I have seen them for a long time here without being purchased and they look healthy, they even come try to attack my finger when I play with them.

Tell me about them.:)

Sarcosuchus, I do not know, beyond the obvious. I believe mine is a female: (i) smallish tail; (ii) smaller nails; (iii) plastron deeper cut;

I will post some pix...
