are my bristlenose the same type?

What is the breeding size and age of Britslenose?
I had a female one about 4-5 inches, she has been with me for a few years now. recently i bought a male one, noticed that his bristles are not a lot though.
I placed them in a 20 gallon tank, but they dont seem to be interested in each other?

here are some pictures, are they the same type?









also added a 3rd female. but its only about 3 inches, do you guys think its already sexually mature? also are they all the same type?

U need minimum 40g breeder tank to be successful they look all nice usually 4-5" is mature size they like caves with only one opening to protect their eggs

I disagree I breed my super reds in a 20g long tank. They will start breeding around a year old size will vary here. I will agree about the cave I use one from kens fish that works well for me.

I also disagree. I've bred ancistrus in a tank as small as 10 gallons.
The OP needs a cave or two in the tank in order for the fish to spawn.

the guy i got the male from was also breeding in a 15 Gallon tank

imo a 10 gallon is too small, I breed mine in 20 longs but minimum should be a 15
