Are my clown loaches figthing or playing?

I have 2 clown loaches and they chase each other every once in a while all over the tank, none of them are hurt.

As everyone else has said they really need to be in a group of 5-6 minimum.Loaches are a very sociable fish and fair much better in a group and become more confident .

I agree. My (yoyo, angelicus, polka dot) loaches were straight up aggressive until I got them more friends. My Botia Dario was, and still is pretty aggressive when anything tries to enter her cave. She is the only one who is still by herself, but only because they are nearly impossible to find in my area.

If I add some tiger barbs will they be less agressive?
