I have a ten gallon fry tank with 10 flowerhorn fry, my readings are as follows: 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 5 nitrates. My question is because the fry are constantly flashing, and scratching themselves on the bottom. I have only had them for 3 days, and as with all new fish, I added salt, and melafix to the tank as a preventative measure. Could this be causing the scratching? They are all eating fine on brine shrimp, and there are no white spots that I can tell. Is there anything else I should be doing? I have been doing 30% water changes twice a day since I noticed the scratching yesterday.
Thanks
-Ben

Looks to be internal parasites; today I noticed white stringy feces on a few of the fry. Purchased API General Cure because it has both praziquantel, and metronidazole for any parasites.
