I got a new blackberry so I can finally take pics, not very good pics but you get the idea. I am thinking about moving these guys to my African tank with (obviously) my other Africans. Think they will survive? I have a blue acei about 5" in there, two electric yellows about 3", a red zebra about 3.5", a fuebelloni ( spelling?) about 4", a convict pair soon to be moved and a jewel cichlid about 3". In the grow out tank I have 3 red zebras, two of which are albino, at 1.5-2". A electric yellow at 2" and a unknown but quite nasty little guy who is 2". He rules the grow out tank and I don't know what he is lol. He is pic one. Think it will be alright? I want to use the grow out tank for some tetras and other peaceful fish. Just because I have all aggressive fish and want a change lol.

I wouldn't put any 1.5" African with a 5" African if I was nervous about it getting eaten. Provide lots of caves and hiding places for small fish if you want to try it, but no guarantees....

I really want to set up my 20 gallon for crayfish, but I don't want to risk losing any of these little guys.

i wudnt risk the crayfish... i had a malawi tank full of 5" with the addition off a day old baby from my moms petshop. he had survived ,, that was probally mad luck involved. we only had him cuz there was massive fish in the tank at her work n they ate all the other babys..

...The tank will be for the crayfish alone. Hence why I'm asking if it would be okay to move my Africans to the big tank.

If you don't care whether or not they'll get eaten, then go ahead. They may survive if given lots of small nooks, but you will probably lose at least some of the smaller ones.
