Are my new angels altums?

I bought 3 quarter sized altum angelfish a few weeks ago and was wanting confirmation that they actually are altums. They were only 5.99 but the guy at the store said they were wild caught altums. Thanks

i think its just a normal angel ( in germany whe say "scalar" )

altum have a very steep forehead

steeper as the angel on the picture .

Sorry, It does not look like an Altum.

Get a few more pics when they're settled. Take pics of each angel. From that view though, it is Peruvian scalare/altum to me, not true altums.

I am in the process of taking some more pics but they are fast! What are some physical charactoristics that help to differentiate between altums and other angels?

They all look like the typical scalares. None are true altums. Sorry about this news.

I agree with Lupin. Look like scalare, you would definately know by the price if they were altums.
