I've committed myself to doing daily 60% water changes for the past week. My Nitrates according to the test dipstick are considerably below 20, and have been for the past few days. Every other parameter is fine.

Is it a problem to actually have too few Nitrates?

only when growing demanding plants. i commend you and your fish appreciate it im sure, rarely do we see this kind of thread its always "how little of wc can i get away with" or "is deep red a bad color on the test?"

There is really no way you can have too low nitrates for fish.
I try to keep my tanks between 2-5ppm, with daily to every other day water changes and plant refugium filtration.
I live next to Lake Michigan, it has an average nitrate reading of <1.

Ive been doing wc when my nitrates hit 15, bringing them down below 10, then they creep back up to 15 over the week. If youre below 20, youre golden, unless like mentioned before having a little higher nitrates would actually support plant growth, but there are better ways to fertilize plants than to neglect water changes
