ok... I have two 20G tanks but the only difference is one is the long version and one isnt...

In the normal 20G tank i have a breeding pair of Red Blood Parrots and in the long 20G tank I have a Tiger Oscar, a Red Devil, and a Senegal Bichir... I am guessing that all of the fish are juveniles because i bought them all from petstores at under 3" in length

what is ur filtration like, pretty soon ur gonna need larger tanks 75+ gallon

as mentioned, all your fish will quickly outgrow the volume of both those tanks combined

Sounds to like you need to do a little research on the fish you own and definetly before any future fish you buy.

Your tanks are currently not overstocked as long as all the fish are 3". Your fish will grow quickly and your tanks will soon be overstocked.

it has also been said that bichirs don't do well with aggressive fish, so when you upgrade, keep this in mind

alright, thanks. and my filtration is for a 60G tank... so its more than it should be =/

your red devil has the potential to grow into a 10-12"+ extremely aggressive fish, needing atleast a 75g at minimum, and quite possibly TO ITSELF.

Oscars can grow to 12"+ as well, and while not aggressive per say, can get quite territorial and will tear other fish up if need be. will need a 75g at minimum.

your senegal....again, another fish that will grow over 12" needing a 75g once again to be comfortable. the senegal can atleast be possibly mixed with the oscar, depending on your oscars temperment later on.

so as you can see, if you plan to keep all these fish, your looking at getting at least 2-75g tanks in the near future if your red devil lives upto its potential of being a nasty fish.

your blood parrots COULD live in a 20g, since they generally dont get very large. just make sure to keep up with water changes and have good filtration.

you will need a tank 100Gal + when all your fish get a little bigger . ( In a a couple of months a would say ) .

And your Red Devil will deffently try and most likey will be the boss of the tank and will possibly try and kill your other fish , might not but Red Devils get highly aggressive towards other simller sized fish like your Oscar .

My Midas and my Oscar definitely do not get along...hiding places are a must.

Also, I thought blood parrots were sterile.
