Are NTT's Timid or Aggressive

I just remember a long time ago people kept saying that NTT's are timid and shy compared to the rest of the Dats.

Right now my 9" IT and my 6" NTT rule the tank, they wont touch each other and they will even team up to harass the rest of the tank. So I am just posting a poll to see what others have found to see if my guy is normal or if he is just a freak of nature.

Out of all the NTTs that I've had/have, none of them ruled the tank or were overly agressive.

yeah NTT is a bit timid. maybe you have to try keep NGT

To me it all came down to what tankmates it had and that determined how it was.

My ntt are still only about 4''....and quite sissy. Especially when compared to my IT's and ngt.

My NTT is quite aggressive when there is a fish in its territory. Sometimes when you introduce a new fish in the tank.

NTT are extremely shy always hide in the tank, I own x10 baby Indo and the baby indo are always swimming in front of the tank whenever i walk by while the NTT just sat in one place. BTW I got two NTT datnoid one is at 3.5" and one is at 5".

Least aggressive ime.

I think it comes down to size and the individual personality of the fish... eg. I have 2 thinbars. , 7 and 8.5 inch. None of the smaller tigers bully them, but the bigger IT's will always dominate anything smaller.

I reckon if I had a 12 inch NTT with smaller ITs, then the Bigger NTT would
rule.
