Title pretty much says it all. I'm purchasing my first P Bass tomorrow and real excited to get him. He's going to be going in a 125g with my 6-7" Oscar, 2 Tinfoil Barbs, and a school of SD. He'll be 5" when I purchase him. No need to tell me he'll outgrow the tank fast. I know. I'm having a 300g 8ft plywood tank built within 6 months. Just waiting to move first.
I'm real excited to get him and I've been reading a lot about them but just recently, while looking in the cichla sub forum, I was thinking to myself "I haven't read anything about if these guys can be aggressive with tank mates or not."
So just a simple question. Anyone kept these guys known them to be aggressive?
P.S. Nothing in my tank is aggressive. Not even my Oscar. He'll chase new comers around for a bit and once he realized he can't eat them he'll leave them be. I had to move a JD out of this tank because he was thrashing my Oscar pretty bad so I've dealt with aggressive ones in this tank before. The current stock is real mild.
