Went to several different shops that carry flowerhorns looking for a nice female. Out of the 4 lfs 1 had 1 female. Even online females seem to be few and far between. Are most females culled out at a young age? Do breeders just not like to let females out so there are less people breeding? I know if you were going to own just 1 fh it would be a male but is there really not enough demand for female flowerhorns?
Are quality female fh hard to find?

depend on which type of female you are looking for but for a proven KK female, you will not often find them available. You will often find some nice RD or Kamalau females on AB except that the shipping cost is just too much.
I looked there. She has 2 srds which are fine but not really what im looking for and a kamfa that I find unattractive. But to my point thats 3 out of 21.
