IMG_3860.jpegI have a snook and it seems to me im basically the only one on MFK with a snook if you guys own a snook and will be willingly to give me tips on how i should improve the care of my fish that would be wonderful.
Will be getting something to shade my pool from the sun so the algae doesn’t grow.

Not too common in the trade. Have gotten a few swordspine snook which never seem to work out. Definitely catch snook when I go fishing but I don’t take them home.

I think? R1Ridah successfully kept a Swordspine Snook in a 600g for awhile. The other species get too big. So dig through the MFK search.

I believe the issue is that they are big and fast and spook easy so they bash themselves to death. Yours looks to be in a pond which is probably ideal. No corners no startling it from the side etc.

Seems like i have to do with web provides even if its close to none :)
Hard to find any info, even about legality. You can possess one with a fishing license and snook permit for 1 year. You may need another permit to keep one as a pet tho. Most often u need the permit before hand also or ur just turning ur self in when u try to get the permit. The permit or legality may be why no one is keeping them as pets.
