I was just wondering if there are any species of grouper (miniatus, ect) that can survive in high end brackish? also would the silver datnoid or new guina dat be able to live in high end brackish?

i personally don't have any experience with keeping groupers but i have read before that the bumblebee grouper has been known to enter brackish water. what do you consider high end brackish water?

Only from my reference literature can I offer any information. Between"Aqualog" and "Brackish Fish", it seems that the Mangrove Jack and the Emperor Snapper are encountered in waters with SG 1.012-1.018, but will not tolerate low salinity at all. Though this may only be at the juvenile stage. Hopefully this will at the least give you a starting point.
