If someone is arrested for DWI and they are underage, is there anyway to convince a judge to bring the 360day license suspension, to 180 or even 90? Could you offer to take a defensive driving course/ community service? Also, would bringing up a car is required in order to pay for college help? Any expireince, advice would be useful thanks

He will remind you to think of those things first next time And as for deciding your own sentence....no......Clean record is your best defense here....

You should take the defensive driving class and an alcohol awareness class. This may or maynot help you with the judge, but may help you better understand about drinking and driving.

well my record is clean, and would i take a def. driving/ alc. awareness course before the court date, or would the judge sentence me to that?

You are asking us to speculate without all of the facts. Hoe old are you? How drunk were you? How fast were you driving?

I have an idea, don't get arrested for driving drunk. That would reduce your suspension to zero days.
