Are there any threads on drip systems?

Here's my question... Since my pond will be 538 gallons and I can't use the hot water for water changes, I was going to preheat water in my 125 a week in advance then empty that into my pond to fill it back up.

My question is, if I drew up a drip system, and changed 20 or so gallons a day, wouldn't that be a lot easier? Because then I wouldn't have to use an extra 400 watts just to heat spare water. So what if the 20 gallons being changed are cold? The pond is 538. The temperature change will be gradual. Am I making sense?

Are there any drip system instructions on here? Any threads devoted to one? I'd really appreciate it!

there are quite a few , Iw ould hunt them down for ya but I am a bit busy , search 24/7 waterchange , autmatic waterchange ,

Dripping such a small amount of cold water per day should not affect your temps at all...

Exactly thats what I'm after! Another good point for the parents to help my case. I'm going to take a look through this right now.
