These 2 are the surviving fry from the spawn of my Petsmart label RT pair. What do you guys think? Worth to keeping or cull? They are at 2" from mouth to tail.

First one I wouldn't keep, but the second one looks to have some potential

Sent from my SM-G900V using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

I'd keep both of them. It's hard to tell the potential of the 1st one just yet, it's too early considering these offspring have a strong texas gene with flowerhorn. I'm actually surprised to see the male being fertile. Most of the males in this kind of cross wouldn't be fertile. The 2nd fish isn't necessarily considered a bonsai. It looks like a tail defect instead.

Brobstfish- I thought about disposing the first fry since its plain with no pearls and keeping the 2nd fry because the pearls was standing out already. I guess I will keep both and grow them out to see how they turn out since I am curious to what they will turn out to be espically who knows what cichlid genes are in the parents.

BIG_ONE- I was actually amaze also the male was fertile when these frys hatched. Good to know that its a tail defect instead of a bonsai. I think the parents are too close in genetics cause there was a lot of defects on my latest respawned batch from the same parents. 60 hatched and slowly dying away until i have about 20 left. The biggest fry (dime size) keeps eating up the smaller (half dime size) ones which I am down to 10 frys.

Thanks guys for you inputs.

they worth crap.

You gonna pay me to take them in.
