Are these Aligator Gars?

I'm starting to be able to identify gars better now.

These are aligator gars if i'm not wrong? :D

This is from a farm in singapore.. $6.80 per gar

yeah, they are gator gar!
 
yup csquare! just recently went into gars.. have 2 florida gars 6 inches each.. trying to get them off live feed..
still trying hard for 2 days.. they don't seem interested.. pellets just float around for the whole day then i remove them
at the end of the day lol

cool! where do you stay? i stay east side. trying to find more local friends which are interested in gar's.

Try giving them some mp before getting them on pellets. For pellets i have more success with skining ones.
 
haha pasir ris.. i usually go to the jalan kayu farm (nanyang seaview).. wondering where i can get more varieties.. thinking of breeding convict cichlids as feeders.. not sure where to find em though
