Are these aquarium rocks safe?

Would these be safe for my tank? The one on the left is petrified wood. And idk what the one on the right is

I already had petrified wood. But the other rock came with a fish tank I found at the thrift store

Do you know what type of tree the petrified wood is. If it's from a hardwood tree for example oak yes safe. The wood on the right looks too fresh imo to be aquarium safe.

I would soak the petrified wood in a bucket of really hot water prior to placing it into your aquarium.

Actually it doesn’t matter what type of tree the wood is from. There is no wood left, when things are fossilized, minerals replace the original material, almost like a mold of an object

As long as the rocks aren’t treated with any chemicals, it should be fine

The bacon rock is Ryolite. It is aquarium safe & often sold at fish stores.
I have chunks of Ryolite in storage. Relics from days long gone. Lol.
I have pieces of petrified wood in my main tank. It's absolutely harmless.

I think the red rock looks cool,despite its resemblance to my favorite food group. Seeing the striations from its formation is fascinating. I like to nerd out on rocks even though i know little about them
