Just curious as they seem to max out at 7.5 inches and seem to look pretty nice. At that size, it would seem they would do fine in a 90G.

It's from Mexico, so someone has to have them?

Thanks!

Ahh the things I would need to do to get a ray.... move to Oregon!

it all depends of the bottom area i do not have one but i want one and i am trying to study them my aquarium is 270l which might sound small but the area is 150*45.

Scientific name is Potamotrygon Ocellata. Ive not seen many of them on here. Since they stay so small they are maybe super sencitive? I do not know..

Never seen or heard of them, and there has to be a reason, there are a lot of people who want rays but don't want to do the 500g tank necessary to house most of them for life

From what I have been researching on these little things is that their import/export has been banned and the ones that were sold in the hobby years back were damn expensive, about 750-1k per pup, much more for adults.

The problem with these is that there is very little known about them.

I bet they were populare at that time, imagine mixed with motoro. Then youd maybe get a nice ray that didnt grow so big. Gues thats why they were so expencive.
