iv become real fond of the Pimelodidae family with catfish and was wondering if any of these species of cats are avialable in the hobby...and if so what site/distributor?

Calophysus macropterus
Aguarunichthys tocantinsensis
Aguarunichthys cf. torosus
Aguarunichthys torosus

Yes, Jeff Rapps (Tangled Up In Cichlids) had both Calophysus macropterus and Aguarunichthys torosus for sale a few years ago. I raised a A. torosus for a few months until Hurricane Katrina did it in :( It was a fantastically active fish that grew rapidly, eating anything. Unfortunately, I don't recall seeing any since, although ECZS could probably get them in if requested. I don't believe either fish is particularly hard to come by in nature.

Happy hunting, and let us know if you find them!
