Are these convict eggs?

I have one plastic plant covered with specks of white...sorta like small grains of sand. Could these be the eggs of a pair of 1-1.5" pink convicts?

Yep convicts

They seem really small, and I see ~4 black specks on all the "eggs". At first I was hoping they would be hatching but I doubt 2 pink convicts will have black convicts as fry :screwy:

if you have a male and a female convict in a tank, you will get babies just as sure as the pope will pray on sunday :)

incase you dont know already, females have orange on their bellies, and males do not.
