Are these convict eggs?

I have one plastic plant covered with specks of white...sorta like small grains of sand. Could these be the eggs of a pair of 1-1.5" pink convicts?

They seem really small, and I see ~4 black specks on all the "eggs". At first I was hoping they would be hatching but I doubt 2 pink convicts will have black convicts as fry

Pink cons can have blacks. It depends on their genes though.
