Are these convicts??

Went to the shop yesterday and got these two little guys. The vendor was not sure what they were.

I've had convicts before but for some reason these look a little different to me, not as dark or barred and maybe like a powder blue to them?

Can anyone id? Just plain old cons?

They're a little beat up but look healthy otherwise. They were housed with a big midas

Just normal cons. Mine has blue fins like that. Hard to tell if there is a little short bodying to them though.

Just like everyone else said...yes G Galactik , those are definitely Convicts. What size are they? Hard to tell from the pics. Have fun, they should be spunky little buggers.

Maybe Shortbody “polar blue” convicts

Aquarium strain convicts of some sort. Look "normal" to me but with all the genetic mutations of the convict out there, who knows what is in the mix of these.

Look like polar blues to me. They are mixed with parrotfish if I'm not mistaken.

Polar blues are actually just short body convicts. Parrot convicts are rare and come looking like yellowish convicts.

I don't know, the ones I've seen marketed as polar blues always have that parrotfish mouth. They definitely don't look like they are just short bodied convicts. Even the color is different than a normal convict. But then again half these sellers may not even know exactly what they have.
