Change your tank setup... Lots of rocks and small caves, higher PH ( 7.5-8 ) and your cichlids will breed on their own from my experience...

when I was keeping africans it seemed like all they needed was a flat rock to lay the eggs on and fertilize them until they scooped them up since theyre mouthbrooders although the caves and decor wouldnt hurt also I found if you dont strip them and theyre hesitant to spit the fry a breeding mop sometimes helps
