Hello everyone! Sorry new to this, just wondering if these guys are green terrors?? When I bought them I was under the impression they were but there only about 2 inches or so and breeding? I thought terrors woildnt breed till almost 4 or 5 inches? Also wondering if I could put a school of barbs into the tank like a big school and maybe remove some territory to lower aggresion? Thank you!!

And sorry the eggs they laied were fertile I have a bout 50 fry

yes they are and what size is your tank?
It's just 90 gallons, I have 5 terrors, 2 electric blue jd's plan was to just find a breeding pair sell the rest cause they need a lot of space. Right now the guys are really tiny the Jd's maybe 1 inch and the terrors 2inches at max. Just confused on y there breeding already, wondering if they may be a hybrid

they don't look like hybrids. sometimes the dominance dance looks similar to mating. I wouldn't add anything else until the pair develops and you thin the rest out.

Yea they already breed I got about 50 fry I think I know the pair, I'll wait till they develop more. Just weird they breed at such a small size. Thank you for the help. Should a school of barbs be ok with them later on?

do you want the babies? barbs would most likely eat the fry. i'd stay away from tiger barbs as they like to nip fins and part of the cool factor of GTs is their finage. maybe Odessa barbs or my favorite dithers are Columbian tetras but they to can be fin nippers. Columbian tetras have a deep body therefore they stand a better chance of not being a meal. conventional thought is odd # schools like 5 or 7 etc..

Yea I'm gonna have them in a grow tank, I have them separated for now. And I really like the Odessa barbs they look very nice, would cherry's be to small? And I'll have to look them up and yes odd numbers look better imo and thank you bout the comment on first green terror pic! Hes actually the father of the fry, thankfully hes my fav. But most aggresive probably cause the offspring
