I was cleaning the gravel in my breeding pair of jack dempsey's tank and when i was dumping the water i notices these thing on the bottom of the bucket. they appear like some type of leech to me. they are flat and cling to the inside of the vac and bucket if you poke them they ball up. some of them r over and inch they are red in color. each time i vac i find more and more of them. i had noticed that the male had been acting strange for about a month darting around the tank and running into things when i approce the tank but i assumed it was because they were spawning. they have been eating normal if anyone can tell me what they are would be great..
