are these rocks ok for my tank?

so i have a spot under my deck where i dump all my old substrates, and i found these close to it. i THINK they could have been out of one of my old tanks from years ago... do they look aquarium safe?ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1374447250.412441.jpg

Put some vinegar on them and if it starts fizzing then it'll effect your ph and isn't a good idea.

Also clean them with a brush and some hot water to be sure you get all the junk off them.

This - this is what I do when I find rocks or buy rocks that I want to put into my tanks, -knock on wood- it hasn't failed me yet..
 
Those rocks look REALLY nice. I like them. I hope to use rocks like that in my big tank once its up and running.

Moved to setup and filtration.
