These will work but the change might be too dramatic , how big are your aros ? Tank size ? , when my ph is low I usually put a couple of spoonfulls of coral gravel in my external filter to act as a buffer , this is a much more gradual process and after a couple of days sorts my ph out

1 aro 15 inch
150 gallon

what do you mean by the change will be to dramatic????

Hope pm made sense ? Its just less shock as its a slower change to ph

Firstly, what is "low"? Giving us the actual value so we know what we're dealing with rather than just saying it is low would be far more usefull.

Second, what is your hardness like? If you're going to start messing around with your water you should at the very least test the hardness. I would avoid using chemicals and use something like coral rubble or crushed shell if you're having problems with your pH crashing.

ph is 6.5 he told me

sry forgot to tpye it in

See my PM. Dont mess with your PH it'll do more harm then good, 6.5 isnt too low it's fine.

You stated in your other thread that your pH was 7.2 so whats up? You need to get your tank cycled first before you start jacking with water chemistry. Once it is cycled we can work on getting an acceptable pH though arowana can adapt to a oretty wide pH range so best to just match the pH to your home water.
