Are these wild caught or farm bred? pictures inside!

When I bought them the LFS told me they came in as Wild caught but I just want to confirm..

I've had them for about a month now and when i first got them they had ich all over them but all of them are really healthy now!

I'm starting to see green glitters that are developing around their bodies and the middle part of their tail is starting turn a white/blue color.

What i would like to know is..

Occels or monocs?
and
Wild caught or farm bred?

I am pretty sure the tems are farm bred right?

how can you guys tell these things?!

the tems def. do not look like the farm boys we have here.
although i think it may be hard to tell at this size.
 
Well, I bought from the same LFS that you did and I'm pretty sure these are "run of the mill" farm bred Basses. I also bought some last year that I grew out.... they still look nice. But, if you're having second thoughts about investing that much time, food and money to grow out "common" Basses then let me know..... I'll come over with a bucket!
 
look wild and i would say you have tems and ocellaris.. 2 kinds

I got the tems from a different batch.. the ones they had recently absolutely didnt look anything like these ones that i picked up a month or so ago thats why i didnt pick up more.. but who knows.. i forgot to ask when i bought them but i asked about the recent batch and he said they were farm bred.

and the occels i got it from sunset, and he said they came in as wild caught but i was just double checking :)

what do you guys look for to tell the difference? i'll keep posting as they grow..
 
where are the pbass farms located anyone kno ?
 
My opinion is if you have to ask here.. then chances are they are not wild caught ;) Ask the LFS owner ;) See if you can track down an original vendor or location ;)

How much were they each?
