are they about to be banned?

hi all i've just heard but don't know how true it is that spotted/florida gars are about to be banned from import to the UK can anyone shed some light on this please thanks in advance for your replies :)
 
hmm thats odd never heard of that...wonder why...if they plan on banning gar's atleast just the ones that gets too big for ppl around their to buy...atleast leave all others open but spotted/floridas don't get to massive sizes...anyone heard of this?
 
ive been on this for a lil while... trying to confirm... the ban has atleast been delayed for reiw and wont be in effect until 2010.... wether any gar feature on the ban list s another matter.. i cant find a complete list anywhere, and all random posted list in varrious locations have conflicting data... so im unsure... we have time tou and i will hopefully have breedig stock of fl/sp sorted long before 2010....
