Are They Chinese Algae Eaters?

I asked the fishstore clerk for two algae eaters and she just gets these and my mom makes me leave before I can even check to see what they were.

Are they CAE's?

Otocinclus spp. They're small peaceful catfish at 2 inches only.

Otocinclus are better than Chinese Algae Eaters, but they are a lot smaller.

They are nicer then chinese anyway. And stay smaller. My chinese is pushing 5 inches now.

Pro- Otto's are more peaceful
Con-Otto's are less heartier then chinese.

I like me some Otto's, but I usually stick with the chinese. Every time I see
Ottos at any LFS, compared to the chinese, there are way more dead. Same
for me when I take them home. I just have better luck with them.
