I set up my tank and I bought my first fish, Striated Anglerfish. Last Sunday I fed him 4 pieces of Hikari Krill and he loved it. I then got a Lion and a Snowflake Moray on Monday. It's been 4 days and they still have refused to eat! I know it's cause they're getting accustomned to the tank and what not but isn't it starting to get awhile? None of them are eating not even my Angler who hunted down the Krill. Are my new boys in danger? The Stars are eating more than them?

Not my thing, but tank setup would help?

Filtration, size etc. will help you get more replies

What size tank do you have? You should add some marine salt(Not aquarium salt). I have the same fish at home( 3 lions and a moray eel in the same tank.) Dont put too much salt or you will lose the angel. When I got mine I was more worried about water quality than them eating.Mine ate about 2 weeks after I got them. Add a little salt each day, the angel may have to be moved. Just remember, a little salt each day for 3-4 days. The lions and snowflake are brackish fish. You may want to do some research on brackish water tanks. I've had mine for about 2 months now with no problems. The moray is ripping everything, eating like crazy. Let me know how everything goes. gl. You can pm me if you have questions.

Lionfish and Moray Eels aren't brackish? And I said Anglerfish not Angel. My salt is perfect right now 1.023 SG. I test the water every day.

when did the tank finish cycling?
and what are your parameters now?

I'm thinking that your adding of many fish (especially very messy ones that create a large bio-load) over a small amount of time may have caused a spike in ammonia which can make them resist eating.
