That's cool! Black swans are so pretty!!! Just thought I'd put that out there.

My thoughts were "Wow, thats so cute!"

Wish fish were my freinds =(

He doesnt entirely keep fish. He does to fun part of it.

True, I just wish I could employ a duck or swan to feed my fish for me!

Some reason, I don't think he is intentionally feeding it. Waterfowl dip their food in the water before eating it usually. And this could be what he is doing. I have seen a video clip of a goose or something that was "feeding" koi, but in reality I don't think they are capable of realizing what they are doing.

Yep, you're right. I hate to rain on your parade but that's most likely what he's doing. I raised plenty of mallards over the years and they like their food on the soggy side. When I would feed them ground up pellets, they would take a beak-full and walk over to their water dish, dip it in and kind of chew it under the water to get it nice and moist. Boy were they ever messy.

If that's the case, we have to give credit to the fish for being intelligent enough to know the swan is getting ready to eat. They have learned that the food will be dipped and they can eat any extra morsels that happen to fall their way or even steal the food straight from the swan's mouth.

Score: Fish-1/Swan-0 :headbang2
