So I currently have a 4-5" Argentea in my 80gal with 5 silver dollars about the same size. He was in a 30 gal just before where he used to eagerly swim up to eat his pellets (hikari gold). But when I transferred him to his new tank (a month ago), he hasn't been as bold. He constantly chases the dollars but whenever it comes to feeding time, he just stays at the bottom of the tank. I've recently bought omega one sinking pellets but even that he doesn't touch. What should I feed this guy? He seems to be satisfied with just eating the debris at the bottom of tank but I'm sure that isn't optimal for growth.

I'd try something fresh or frozen just to see if I could get him back going. Clam perhaps. Personally I'm not a big fan of SDs as dithers. I think they're far too boisterous, large growing & aggressive feeders.
