*sigh* I never had to keep a top on a cichlid tank. This guy is easily 10"... so this is a surprise. What I noticed though is he started to get spooked easily... *sigh* this really sux.

That sucks, I had my male convict (who had TONS of monster potential) jump out while I was at work too, came home to a similar sight on my carpet.

It's never easy, but it does open up doors for replacements or other options you'd thought of before.
