First of all the good news: Tuesday I was doing some water changes and noticed that my established pair of Argentea were displaying spawning colors so I let nature take its course which is alway good news. However the bad news is a day after the eggs were layed the male turned overly too aggressive defending the spawn sight and then eventually chased off his spawning partner. Instead of letting him attempt caretaking of the eggs which the last previous attempts he ate the eggs, I then divided the tank and moved the spawning female on that side to take care of the spawning sight. Hopefully it works out this time.

, My bad, should have posted this in the media section
